Katrina Kaif on romancing SRK in Zero: It was tough and unusual

Katrina Kaif, who is gearing up for the release of Thugs of Hindostan, will next be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in Zero. At the trailer launch of this Aanand L Rai directorial, Katrina spoke about her character and romancing SRK.

Katrina Kaif is thrilled to reunite with her Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in Zero. The trailer of the much-awaited film just got released today, leaving fans asking for more. The makers chose SRK’s birthday for the big launch. And after seeing the trailer, looks like everything is in favour of this Aanand L Rai directorial.

The cast, along with Aanand spoke about the film and what makes it special at the trailer launch in Mumbai today. Katrina, who seems to be playing a troubled movie star in Zero, shared how her onscreen character was different from her real self.

“The profession is same but not personality. Honestly, it was an incredible journey, a new journey where I learnt so much. Aanand sir was there with me throughout. It was a different and special film,” she said.

Zero has SRK playing a vertically challenged man, while Anushka plays a scientist suffering from cerebral palsy.

Talking about romancing King Khan in a very unique way, Katrina added, “It was tough and unusual. The natural equation that we have is different from the on-screen equation. The character is lively and doesn’t feel he is short. It was a technical procedure.”

Katrina is currently also gearing up for the big Diwali release, Thugs of Hindostan co-starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Sheikh, apart from shooting for Bharat opposite Salman Khan.
