Zareene Khan’s recent transformation into a sultry siren has caught many eyeballs. This because if we go back to 2010 when she debuted in Bollywood as a princess in Veer opposite superstar Salman Khan, she oozed royalty clad in heavily embroidered lehengas and with utmost elegance. Zareene, in her very second outing, gave her fans a pleasant shock when she appeared in the chartbuster item number “Character Deela Hai” in Ready, once more shaking a leg with Salman Khan. Many called her Salman’s new muse back then, due to her strikingly similar looks with Katrina Kaif, Salman’s once rumoured girlfriend.
She then turned a fashion model in Housefull 2, before taking up a bold act in Hate Story 3. Zareene had once said she was quite hesitant to do a bare-all act in Hate Story 3 and had to work on her body a lot. The 29-year-old has stuck to her glamorous avatar and will soon be seen making the most of it in her next film Aksar 2, and the pole dance song “Maahi Ve” in Wajah Tum Ho. Her single track “Pyaar Maanga Hai” with Ali Fazal, sung by Armaan Malik and Neeti Mohan had set the temperatures soaring.
At a very young age, to support her family financially, Zareene began to earn. The 5 feet 8 inches tall actor initially weighed over a 100 kilos. But a rigorous fitness regime made her fit for modelling assignments. However, for Veer, she was required to gain 8 kilos to look like a 19th-century princess. It is heard Zareene went on a chocolate diet to get the results. She keeps making appearances on the ramp for her friends in the fashion industry and jewellery brands. Leaving aside her weighty issues, Zareene is a beautiful and ever-smiling face on the camera.
