Zarina Wahab says she was prepared for husband Aditya Pancholi’s affairs post wedding: ‘His girlfriends accused him of abuse because…’

Later, in 2004, he was said to be dating Kangana Ranaut. They too were involved in several public spats and controversies, where the actress accused him of physical abuse. Aditya too claimed that the actress abused him financially.

While all this was in public, Zarina said she was always prepared for such things to happen. In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, Zarina said, “I was always aware of Nirmal (Aditya’s real name)’s affairs, but I never questioned him. I only cared about how he treated me when he was home. I ignored asking him questions because it would have made him fearless. I was completely prepared for him to have affairs.”

When asked about how she feels about the accusations against her husband by his girlfriends Pooja Bedi and Kangana Ranaut, Zarina said, “He has never been an abusive husband. He is such a sweetheart. Ulta mai maar du use (For once, I might beat him). But, he is very sweet. His girlfriends accused him of these things because they didn’t get what they wanted.”

Zarina then spoke about Kangana, who according to her dated her husband for four-and-half years. She said, “I was always nice to Kangana. She often visited my home. He was very nice to her. I don’t know what went wrong. I just can tell that I saw what he couldn’t and eventually that happened.”

In 2019, Kangana filed an FIR against the actor and accused him of raping her when she was a newbie in the industry. In 2022, Aditya moved the Bombay High Court to quash rape case lodged against him, according to PTI.

Despite all the controversies and affairs, Zarina called Aditya a “great husband and father”. She said, “He is a great father and a good husband. He has never stopped me from doing anything. Be it films, be it travelling, he would never stop.”

Aditya and Zarina are parents to a daughter, Sana and a son, Sooraj.
