The trailer for Siddhant Chaturvedi’s much-anticipated film Yudhra was released on Thursday. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment. Siddhant made his Bollywood debut with Zoya’s 2019 film Gully Boy. In Yudhra, the actor portrays a character with anger issues who is thrust into a mission to eliminate a drug lord. Following his negative role in Karan Johar-backed Kill, Raghav Juyal once again takes on a grey character in Yudhra.

The action-packed trailer opens with Siddhant’s voiceover as Yudhra. He says, “Abhimanyu knew how to enter the Chakravyuh but never learned how to escape.” As visuals of Yudhra brutally killing his factory co-workers take over the screen, the voiceover continues, “You thought I am Abhimanyu, but I am his father Arjun.” This is followed by the introduction of Malavika Mohanan as Yudhra’s love interest. Ram Kapoor also appears in the trailer and declares that Yudhra has anger issues. However, he wants him to channel his anger into capturing a drug lord, played by Raj Arjun. Raghav Juyal plays the role of Raj’s right-hand man.

Siddhant Chaturvedi shared the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “Death is his companion, revenge is his motive, and redemption, his only escape. Witness the world of Yudhra. #YudhraTrailer Out Now.”

Yudhra also stars Gajraj Rao in a pivotal role. The film is directed by Ravi Udyawar. The film will release in theatres on September 20.
