Meanwhile, the real Larissa Nery posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) in which she said, “Guys, I am going to tell you a joke; it’s too horrible. They are using an old picture of me for elections in India, showing me as Indian. What a mess! A reporter even reached out to my workplace for an interview. I couldn’t believe it when a friend sent me the photo again.”

Larissa Nery not a model, photo available on stock sites

However, NDTV revealed that Nery is not a model but a hairdresser. It is an old photo of hers which is available for free download on many stock photo sites. Talking to Brazilian news agency Aos Fatos, Larissa Nery said that she isn’t a model and posed for this particular photo to help a friend. He later shared the photo online with her permission. Since then, it has been used thousands of times. Aos Fatos also contacted the photographer, Matheus Ferrero, who said people hacked his social media accounts since the photo surfaced.

Aryan and Larrisa have been spotted together multiple times during several events in Mumbai. The model even congratulated Aryan when the first glimpse of Ba***ds of Bollywood dropped. She even tagged Aryan, but still neither of the two has ever confirmed their relationship.

She was a part of Raj and Dk’s Go Goa Gone (2013) and was also seen in the song ‘Subha Hone Na De’ from the Rohit Dhawan film Desi Boyz (2011).
