Anushka recently turned 36 and celebrated her birthday on May 1. The actor has largely stayed away from the public eye ever since she welcomed her son Akaay in February. Anushka made her first public appearance after Akaay’s birth in May during an IPL match. She has since supported Virat during some of the matches but she was not present in the stands when India won its WT20 final recently. Anushka and Virat were also absent from the Ambani festivities in Mumbai.

Anushka and Virat announced Akaay’s birth on social media in February as they wrote, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude, Virat & Anushka.”

Anushka has not appeared in any films since 2018’s Zero. She was working on the Jhulan Goswami biopic Chakda Xpress but the release date of the film is yet to be announced.
