Actor Salman Khan is among the most popular Indian actors. He has a fan following of 45.2 million on Twitter and on Instagram, he is followed by 64.4 million people. But there is someone in the same profession as Salman, who didn’t recognise him when he met him at an awards ceremony. And, that is Hollywood star John Travolta.

John Travolta and Salman attended an award ceremony in Riyadh in 2022. At the event, Salman, who sat beside John, had to introduce himself to him after probably praising him for his work.

A viral video of the two actors from an award ceremony resurfaced on Reddit. It opens with Salman saying something to the Grease star in his ear and then saying “Amazinggg” loudly. He then introduces himself to John, “I work in the Indian film industry. My name is Salman Khan.” After the introduction, John gave a wide smile to Salman and shook hands with him.

John Travolta is an American actor who started his acting career in the 1970s with the sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter. He went on to star in films like Carrie (1976), Saturday Night Fever (1977), Grease (1978), and Urban Cowboy (1980). Next, the actor will be seen alongside veteran actor Al Pacino and Viggo Mortensen in filmmaker-playwright David Mamet’s Assassination, a film about the murder of former US president John F. Kennedy.

Salman, who was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is gearing up for the release of Tiger 3, a part of YRF’s ambitious spy universe. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and is scheduled to release on the festival of Diwali.
