When Kavita Kaushik rescued Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek from rowdy crowd at a mela in Hathras: ‘I scolded him so much’

Kapil, in his trademark wit, replied, “Main toh keh raha hu roz aao, aap humare show mein permanent ho jao, ladko ko ladki banate hue thak gaye hai hum (I think you should come here everyday and be a permanent on the show. We are anyway tired of turning men into women for our gags). You will bring in original galmour.”

Then Kapil joked about why the show didn’t go on a break as was speculated and said, “Our show was about to go on a break last month, but when I got to know that you are in carry On Jatta 3, I thought no issues, let’s carry on with the show, break can keep happening later.”

Kapil Sharma also had an international tour lined up, which was to coincide with the break. The comedian also joked about this, when he asked Sonam about her own US trip. “If you are missing it, you can again go there because I am going there (for the tour). So you are most welcome,” he added as everyone laughed.

Kavita Kaushik, who found fame as Inspector Chautala in the TV show FIR, also spoke about her association with Kapil Sharma during Comedy Circus. She recalled how Kapil and Krushna Abhishek encouraged to go with them for a mela (carnival) in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. “The crowd their was very rowdy. These two said it is a good event and we should capture all kinds of audience. But people started banging on the car. I really scolded Kapil and said we are here because of you. I told him that you would walk in front of me and Krushna will walk behind me; if someone even pinches me, I will peel you two with a knife.” Kapil then interjected that it was Kavita who rescued both of them from the crowd in reality. “She only saved us from the crowd. I saw that version of Kavita for the first time,” Kapil said.
