Trust Alia Bhatt to do the unexpected. While Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar were judging ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’, Alia decided to surprise her ‘Shaandaar’ co-star and mentor by dropping in unannounced.

“Alia kept her arrival a secret. No one knew about it till the time she came onto the sets. Both Shahid and Karan were pleasantly surprised and the expression on their faces indicated that they were more than happy at this unexpected arrival,” said a source.

Alia Bhatt reportedly hung around the sets for sometime. As soon as break was announced, the trio retired to cosy comfort of their vanity van for a sumptuous meal. “It was a good one-hour break where all three remained inside the vanity van. Alia left soon after the luncheon was over, ” informs a source.
