Varun Dhawan‘s ‘Badlapur‘ opened to a positive response at the box office and has earned Rs 8.75 crore in first two days of its release.
The movie is gaining from positive word of mouth and has a long way to go.

The movie bagged Rs 7 crores on the first day of its release domestically, and Rs 2.03 crores in the UAE. The second day collections shot up to Rs 8.75 crores, making a figure of Rs 15.75 crores in the first two days.

Director Sriram Raghavan and Producer Dinesh Vijan left no stone unturned when it came to the promotions of ‘Badlapur’.

Seen in an entirely different avatar, Varun Dhawan has managed to get a make over for his personality with this film. From being a chocolate boy, the actor’s evolution in ‘Badlapur’ has helped him enter the club of serious actors.
Also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam and Huma Qureshi ‘badlapur’ released last friday.
