The new song from Kaabil, ‘Haseeno Ka Deewana’, is making everyone groove to its beats. Sizzling Urvashi Rautela is leaving no stone unturned to give a fresh breeze to the revamped version of Amitabh Bachchan’s song ‘Sara Zamana’ from Yaarana. Within a day of its release, the new song has crossed more than 2 lakh views on YouTube and is trending on social media too, and has become the newest chartbuster to be played on every radio station.
Not to forget, both the songs – ‘Sara Zamana’ and ‘Haseeno Ka Deewana’ have been composed by Rajesh Roshan, uncle of Hrithik Roshan, the male lead of Kaabil. But what is it that Big B’s song had which Urvashi’s didn’t? Well, recreating a classic song can be difficult because you have to match up to the level of the original song and yes, comparisons are bound to happen. Urvashi has personified sassiness and hotness in the song but the grace of veteran Bachchan is missing.
When talking about ‘Sara Zamana’ and it’s remake, how to not miss the attire. When the original song was made, the 74-year-old actor had worn an attire which had around 100 bulbs on it but the makers of Kaabil had focused more on lights around Urvashi to show her beauty in all its entirety. In fact, the treatment of the song makes it a dream-come-true for any actor from the present lot because the focus tends to be only on you.
Now, let’s talk about the choreography. ‘Sara Zamana’ had simple, easy to follow moves, which was one of the reasons why the song is considered one of the best in Amitabh’s career. A simple choreography of a song connects to every segment of the crowd. ‘Haseeno Ka Deewana’, on the other hand, has an amazing dance. It is fast in pace and instantly gets on your nerves. But would you try the steps? We doubt.
The new song has been sung by Raftaar and Payal Dev. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam, Kaabil is directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan with music by Rajesh Roshan. A small film with a big heart, it releases in theaters on 25th January 2017.
