Yash Raj Films released a video detailing the breath-taking visual effects that were created for Tiger 3 by their in-house VFX team.

After sharing a VFX breakdown video for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan last year, Yash Raj Films’ in-house VFX department, YFX, gave fans a glimpse of the intense visual effects work that went into creating Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif‘s Tiger 3. The three-minute video has left fans quite impressed with how certain sequences in the film were crafted. While some called the VFX in Tiger 3 better than Pathaan, others were particularly impressed with Shah Rukh and Salman’s scene together.
yFX’s Sherry Barda said in a statement, “At a time when people want spectacular visual experience from theatricals, we are delighted to have delivered products like Pathaan and Tiger 3 that have become resounding success stories. To do this in a single calendar year, makes us incredibly proud.”
The video majorly highlights the action sequences of Salman Khan, from him riding a bike on a steep wooden ramp, to him being rescued from a prison by Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan). One fan wrote, “Tiger 3 VFX is much better than Pathaan,” while another fan wrote, “I think this is the best visual effects spy universe movie till now.” One of the viewers wrote, “Tiger 3 uses the best VFX, its quality is the best of all time in Hindi cinema’s history.”

After watching this video, some fans also wrote that they are eagerly waiting for Tiger vs Pathaan now. A few months back, Indianexpress.com had also spoken to YRF’s VFX head Sherry Bharda about the amazing action sequences and larger-than-life sets built for Pathaan.
While Sherry revisited the fun they had while working on Pathaan, she even shared that now with a team of 250 members, they aim to work more efficiently. She had promised to give the fans more spectacular and death-defying stunts in Tiger 3 and it seems like she lived up to the expectations.

In the Tiger 3 breakdown video, fans loved the VFX in the bridge scene that has Shah Rukh and Salman Khan jumping into a helicopter. Other fans were impressed by the fight sequence between Salman and Emraan Hashmi, which included a fully CG horse.
Tiger 3 was directed by Maneesh Sharma and starred Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in key roles. The film was released in theatres on Diwali, it received a lukewarm response and went on to collect Rs 450 crore at the global box office.
