Srikant Tiwari is finally back, and how! The makers of The Family Man 3 have unveiled the trailer of the highly anticipated series, and if it’s anything to go by, we’re in for yet another rollercoaster ride with the “James Bond from Chembur” — our very own Srikant Tiwari, played by the incomparable Manoj Bajpayee. Once again, Srikant finds himself torn between his high-stakes missions as an intelligence officer and the everyday challenges of holding his family together.
The trailer opens with a shocking scene, Srikant finally comes clean to his family about being a spy. His son’s response is both hilarious and heartfelt as he asks if he has a code name like say ‘Tiger, Panther, Lion’. To this, Srikant, in his trademark witty style, quips, “he works in intelligence, not in a circus.” As the trailer unfolds, creators Raj & DK shift the narrative focus to India’s Northeast, where Srikant faces a formidable new adversary, a deadly drug lord portrayed by none other than Jaideep Ahlawat. Joining Jaideep on the dark side is actress Nimrat Kaur, who proudly declares in the trailer, “I’m the one running this circus.”
Adding to the intrigue, Srikant himself becomes a wanted criminal, with an arrest warrant issued in his name. The stakes are higher than ever as his professional and personal worlds collide, as he even involves his family in spy craft this time and is on the run with them. Of course, no Family Man story is complete without the camaraderie between Srikant and his ever-loyal colleague, JK Talpade, played by Sharib Hashmi. True to form, the duo finds themselves behind bars yet again. In a moment of comic frustration, JK bursts out at Srikant saying that because of him, he will die single. Srikant, ever quick on the comeback, responds, “Once we get out of here, JK, I’ll supervise your matchmaking.”
Written by Suman Kumar along with Raj & DK, The Family Man 3 is set to premiere on Prime Video on November 21, 2025. The series also features a stellar ensemble cast including Shreya Dhanwanthary, Darshan Kumaar, Seema Biswas, Vipin Sharma, Gul Panag, Dalip Tahhil, Jugal Hansraj, and Aditya Srivastava.
