Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, shared a post on Instagram for the first time after the India’s Got Latent controversy. He also posted a YouTube video announcing the return of his podcast. While Ranveer called his comeback a ‘rebirth,’ his friend and comedian Tanmay Bhat couldn’t resist trolling him in the comments section of the post.

In his Instagram post, Ranveer shared photos with his family and team, who stood by him during the tough phase. He wrote, “Thank you to my loved ones (red heart emoji). Thank you, universe (folded hands emoji). A new blessed chapter begins – Rebirth…” Many celebrities welcomed Ranveer back to social media. Actor Abhay Deol posted a clapping emoji. Ekta Kapoor dropped red heart emojis.

However, Tanmay Bhat took the opportunity to remind Ranveer Allahbadia of singer B Praak, who had backed out of featuring on his podcast after the India’s Got Latent controversy erupted. Tanmay jokingly wrote, “Like this comment if you want a B Praak podcast.” Tanmay also cheekily wrote, “Missed you (not really) 😘” He also took a jibe at Ranveer’s subscribers and wrote, “Nice of you to click photo with the only subscribers you have left.”

At the time of the controversy, B Praak had shared a video in which he said in Hindi, “I was supposed to appear on a podcast, on BeerBiceps, and we cancelled that. Why? Since we are all seeing how pathetic his thinking is. The choice of words that he has used on Samay Raina’s show.”

Ranveer Allahbadia’s obscene comment on India’s Got Latent had sparked outrage and multiple FIRs against Ranveer, Samay Raina and other panelists on the show. The Supreme Court granted him interim protection from arrest, though it termed his remarks “vulgar”. He was allowed to resume his show by the apex court earlier this month.
