Taal, Pardes director Subhash Ghai hospitalised in Mumbai

Renowned film producer and director Subhash Ghai has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai due to health concerns. The 79-year-old was rushed to the ICU on Wednesday after experiencing respiratory issues, weakness, and frequent dizziness.
According to sources at the hospital, Ghai is currently under the close observation of a team of specialist doctors, including neurologist Dr. Vijay Chaudhary, cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale, and pulmonologist Dr. Jalil Parkar.
A source at the hospital informed SCREEN that Subhash Ghai is showing signs of improvement. The source revealed that Ghai is likely to be shifted from the ICU to a general ward within a day.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker’s spokesperson said that he is absolutely fine and was admitted for a routine check-up.
Subhash Ghai has helmed films like Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Vidhaata, Meri Jung, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Khalnayak, Pardes and Taal, among others. He last helmed the 2014 movie Kaanchi.
