Sushmita Sen celebrates ‘one month since angioplasty’: ‘Doing exactly what I love doing’

Sushmita Sen had recently opened up about suffering a heart attack and going through an angioplasty. The actor, in a new social media post, has shared that it’s been a month since the procedure and she is doing exactly what she loves doing.

On Wednesday, Sushmita shared a video of herself enjoying a good hair day on the sets of Taali, and wrote that she is celebrating the one month anniversary of getting an angioplasty. She wrote, “Celebrating the completion of one month since my Angioplasty…by doing exactly what I love doing…WORKING!!! 😁💃🏻❤️🎶 Lights, camera, ACTION & of course @flavienheldt creating his magic!!!😉😀👏.”

As soon as Sushmita shared this post, her fans and friends from the industry poured in their love by writing encouraging comments. Sophie Choudhary wrote, “You are incredible!!!!❤️❤️❤️,” another wrote, “Daaamn you are such an inspiration,” yet another person wrote, “May u live a healthy n happy life ahead sush…..u r my inspiration 👏👏 lots of love to u..”

A month ago, Sushmita had revealed on social media that she had suffered a heart attack. Sharing a picture with her father, she had written, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart.’ Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well-wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!”

Her fans were pleasantly surprised when they saw her walking the ramp at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week just two weeks after suffering a heart attack.

On the work front, Sushmita has wrapped up dubbing for her next web-series Taali where she plays a transgender. Posing with the crew of Taali, Sushmita had written, “The actor shared a couple of photos posing with the team of Taali as she wrote in her caption, “Finally, completed dubbing & promo shoot for our #webseries #Taali. This beautiful #team will be missed dearly…what a soulful journey it’s been!!!🤗❤️🙏.” Sushmita also expressed her gratitude to the cast and director of Taali as she tagged them in her post, and ended the message with her usual signature of “I love you guys, Dugga Dugga.”

Apart from Taali, Sushmita also has the Disney Plus Hotstar series Aarya Season 3 in the pipeline, which is directed by Ram Madhvani.
