Superboys Of Malegaon receives a standing ovation at Toronto International Film Festival, watch video

Actors Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, Vineet Kumar Singh, Manjiri Pupala, Anuj Duhan, Saquib Ayub, along with producers Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti (also the director), and writer Varun Grover, and Nasir Shaikh (on whom the lead protagonist is based) were present at the screening of the movie at the Roy Thompson Theater.

Superboys Of Malegaon writer Varun Grover took to social media to give a glimpse of the screening. Sharing photos and videos, he wrote on X, “Absolutely terrific response to the World Premiere of our film SUPERBOYS OF MALEGAON at TIFF last night. The Roy Thomson Hall was packed with love and our tears couldn’t stop.” The film was selected by TIFF as part of its World Premiere Gala Presentation.

Superboys Of Malegaon has been lauded for its authenticity and the sincerity of the characters that it portrayed. After TIFF, the movie will screen at the BFI London Film Festival in October. It will have a theatrical release in India in January 2025.
