After a long wait, rapper Honey Singh’s rendition of the 1990’s hit song, ‘Dheere Dheere’ from Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Aashiqui’ is finally here. Pictured on the love equation between two young people, played by none other than Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, the song is a tribute to ‘Aashiqui’ producer, Gulshan Kumar.

Inspite of Honey Singh’s sincere efforts to stay true to the original track, we definitely favour the 1990’s ‘Dheere Dheere’ version, especially because of the sheer simplicity of the melody and emotions it captured then and never fails to stir even today.

But, there’s a treat in the new version of the ‘Aashiqui’ song – Hrithik Roshan’s fabulous dance steps. The actor took to Twitter to share the new video.

Sonam Kapoor also posted the video on her Twitter page.
