Sonakshi Sinha addresses trolling after interfaith wedding with Zaheer Iqbal, reshares adorable illustration: ‘Love is a universal language’

Commenting and resharing Bhat’s post, which talks about ‘love is the universal language,’ Sonakshi wrote, “Truest words!! This is adorable! Thank you.” The illustration features a cute sketch of Sonakshi in a red saree with sindoor and bindi, while Zaheer is seen in a bandhgala, both flashing radiant smiles.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s dad and actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha also slammed trolls and urged them to not spread negativity. “Anand Bakshi saab has written about such professional protestors, ‘Kuchh to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. To this I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional,” said the Aan actor to Times Now.

He added, “A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say – go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kuchh nahi kehna (I have nothing else to say).”

Richa Chadha also came out in support of Sonakshi and took to her Instagram Story and penned a heartfelt note,  “Dear Sona and Zaheer! I am floored by your simplicity, your commitment to each other and am so damn happy that you dance to your own tune! Didn’t get a photo with you because you were swamped, but Ali and I love your spirit!” Richa, who is currently in the last trimester of her pregnancy, attended the actor’s wedding reception in Mumbai.”

The wedding reception of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal was attended by Salman Khan, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu, and Anil Kapoor, among others.
