The couple, who have been on a seven-day escape, says the experience was nothing short of transformative. Sonakshi, in her post, said she finally understood the essence of wellness – tuning into their bodies, pampering their minds, and engaging with nature. “In one week we were taught what wellness actually means, listen to our bodies and take care of our minds. Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and massages galore – feeling brand new,” read an excerpt from Sonakshi’s caption.

After seven years of dating each other, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal decided to take their relationship to the next level, with an intimate, inter-faith wedding on June 23 in Mumbai.  Sonakshi and Zaheer’s registered marriage was held in the presence of family members and close friends at her Bandra apartment, followed by a star-studded celebration at Mumbai’s Bastian.
