The trailer of Karan Johar’s upcoming production venture Ittefaq has left the audience quite intrigued to know what the story is all about. The makers are making sure to give us more reasons to watch the film. Continuing the on-going trend of recreating old numbers, Ittefaq too will have a revamped version of the iconic song, Raat Baaki.

The Bappi Lahiri and Asha Bhonsle song, picturised on Amitabh Bachchan and Parveen Babi, will now have a new version. Going by the theme of the film, the song sounds really apt but we are keeping our fingers crossed as we know that in the recent past a lot of iconic numbers were poorly recreated.

Apart from announcing that the song is a part of the film, Sonakshi also wrote that the film has been wrapped up. She posted a picture with Sidharth, Karan, Juno Chopra and Abhay Chopra. The actor captioned the image as, “And its a wrap for #Ittefaq with #RaatBaaki! Amazing journey with these FUN-tastic ppl!”

Earlier, talking about the film, Karan Johar said the movie will bring back the age of edge-of-the-seat entertainers in Bollywood that hold the audience’s attention till the end.

Co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and BR films, Ittefaq is slated for a theatrical release on November 3 this year. The film is a remake of the Yash Chopra’s 1969 hit film by the same name. The original version starred the legendary late actor Rajesh Khanna and Nanda in the lead roles.

The film will hit the theatres on November 3.
