‘Sona is crying’: Sonakshi Sinha, husband Zaheer Iqbal share wedding video filled with ‘family, friends, love, and silly comments’. Watch
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23 after seven years of relationship. The couple hosted a grand wedding reception at Mumbai's Bastian on the wedding night.

Four days after their grand union, Sonakshi Sinha shared a fun video from her marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. It was from the time when the actors had a civil marriage. The video featured the bride and groom along with their family and friends including Shatrughan Sinha, Poonam Sinha, Siddharth, and Huma Qureshi, among others.
The video starts with Sonkashi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal and their family and friends gathering at the balcony of Sonakshi Sinha’s Mumbai house which is decorated with white flowers. Soon, the bride and groom can be seen registering their marriage by signing documents while the crowd can be heard singing, ‘Sona kitna sona Hai’ song and customising it with the line, ‘Mere jiju number 1’, making Sonakshi and Zaheer laugh. Soon actor Siddharth pitches in and says, ‘Ab sab ek sath, Khamosh’.
After putting garlands on each other, the groom can be heard saying, “I, Zaheer Iqbal, take Sonakshi Sinha as my lawful wife.” Followed by the bride, who says, “I, Sonakshi Shatrughan Sinha, take the Zaheer Iqbal Ratansi as my lawful husband.”

The entire process makes Sonakshi Sinha emotional, who tears down, and says, “I can’t help it.”
Sharing the dreamy video, Sonakshi Sinha in a joint post wrote, “Family, friends, love, friendship, laughter, silly comments, kids running around, happy tears, excitement, bloopers, screeches, fun, joy, anticipation, nerves, emotions and above all just pure happiness this was our chaotic little Shaadi ka ghar… and it was PERFECT… it was US.”
For her wedding on June 23, Sonakshi Sinha wore her mother’s vintage wedding saree. Zaheer complimented his bride and twinned in white. Later, in the evening, the couple hosted a grand wedding reception in Mumbai’s Bastian. It was attended by several whos and who of Bollywood.
The couple also shared a set of photos from their wedding to formally announce their wedding to their fans and followers.

Sonakshi and Zaheer were in a relationship for over seven years and have also starred together in the 2022 film Double XL.
