Stories about ‘R… Rajkumar’ co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have been doing the rounds for sometime now. The duo met on the sets of the action flick and hit it off immediately, reportedly having a blast during the film’s promotions.
The rumoured love-birds were next seen together on Karan Johar’s controversial chat show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ and seemed more than just comfortable in each other’s presence.
When Karan Johar brought up the topic of Sonakshi Sinha’s weight, Shahid Kapoor was quick to defend the actress saying she was curvy. Another interesting factor we just have to bring up is that, Shahid Kapoor has previously graced Karan’s couch with his girlfriends at the time, Kareena Kapoor (the first time) and Priyanka Chopra (the second time), whom he was also believed to be dating. His special appearance with Sonakshi is bound to mean something or could it just be a coincidence?
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who appeared on Karan’s show in the ongoing season along with cousin Ranbir Kapoor took a dig at the ‘Lootera’ actress saying that Sonakshi would be a housewife if she wasn’t in Bollywood. Shahid Kapoor obviously did not agree as he came out in support of his ‘R…Rajumar’ co-star, saying that Sonakshi was much, much more than a housewife.
Shahid Kapoor has had a somewhat colourful past when it comes to his linkups and romances. The actor’s relationship with actress Kareena Kapoor received a lot of media attention. However, their breakup made headlines, though the duo chose not to speak publicly about when went wrong.
He was later also linked to Vidya Balan. However, those rumours eventually fizzled out.
Post ‘Kaminey’, Shahid Kapoor was said to be dating Priyanka Chopra, who lived in the same building as the actor. The couple never admitted to any romantic involvement during the linkup. But, both maintain they are ‘good friends’ post the breakup.
Well, we hope that this Romeo Rajkumar has finally found love in desi belle Sonakshi.
