“Rangoon is scheduled for release on October 14. Junior will definitely arrive before that. Mira’s date is around mid-September, but as it happens in most cases, the baby could arrive a few days before or after the due date,” a source said.

Shahid has been keeping a close eye on his 22-year-old wife Mira. Since this is their first baby, Shahid is taking extra care of her. The Kaminey actor has been spotted accompanying his wife for her doctor visits at all times. “She (Mira) has started getting cravings for particular kinds of food and he (Shahid) makes sure to indulge her,” says a source, refusing to get into details.

“He has also been accompanying her for visits to the doctor and when they are out, he doesn’t let go of her hand or leave her side,” the source adds.

Shahid is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film Rangoon, starring Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, which is scheduled to release on October 14. He is also gearing up for Abhishek Chaubey’s upcoming film Udta Punjab, which will open in theatres on June 17.

While Shahid is actively involved in the promotional activities of both the films, he is also making sure that he spends a lot of time with Mira. The actor is also in talks for his new projects, but has decided not to kick-start any film before his baby arrives. “He’s not planning a paternity leave but he does want to spend some time with both Mira and the baby when it arrives,” a source said.

It’s 10 months of wedded bliss for Mr and Mrs Kapoor and, according to the source, Shahid couldn’t be happier. “Mira is everything he had been looking for and more,” the source concludes.
