Actor Shahid Kapoor is absolutely loving the current phase of his career. The distinct characters he portrays in his films have been taking the actor to new places and Shahid is loving every bit of it exploring them.
Earlier, while shooting for his critically acclaimed film Haider, Shahid loved shooting in an unexplored area of Jammu & Kashmir. The film was shot at locations like Pahalgam, Anantnag, Hazratbal, Sonamarg and other places in the state.
While shooting for his upcoming film Udta Punjab in Punjab, Shahid soon became familiar to the locations where the filming had taken place in and around Amritsar. There were reports that Shahid was trying to take out some time from his busy schedule to visit few places in the state, which include the Golden Temple.
And recently, Shahid had visited Arunachal Pradesh to complete the second last schedule of Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film Rangoon. The actor, who had visited the state for the very first time, was mesmerized by Arunachal’s natural beauty and it has left a lasting impression on him. Reports also suggests that, Shahid is planning to visit the place once again but, this time, with his family.
Shahid, is currently busy with promoting his upcoming film ‘Udta Punjab’, which is scheduled to release on June 17. His character Tommy Singh from the film has earned him immense appreciation from his fans and friends from the industry. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles.
