Produced by Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, the happiest movie of the year has now another reason to be happy after grossing Rs 350 Cr worldwide (USD 15 million overseas) recently. Directed by Farah Khan, ‘Happy New Year’ makes it to the Oscars Library now. Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has officially selected the screenplay of ‘HNY’ for its permanent Core Collection.

The Oscar Library will add the screenplay which is accessible to students, filmmakers, writers, actors and others from the field of cinema, for the purpose of research. Over the years, this collection has grown to include scripts for more than 11,000 produced films spanning the years 1910 to the present.

‘HNY’ starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah is the ultimate underdog story where a team of ‘losers , win the love of millions in their quest to pull off the biggest diamond heist ever!
