Shah Rukh Khan reveals why his face isn’t on Jawan’s poster, shares he has lip synced in Tamil for the film

Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Jawan which will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The new poster of Jawan does not feature Shah Rukh's face and the actor revealed the reason behind the same.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan‘s next outing Jawan will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on September 7 and in a recent #AskSRK on Twitter, the actor revealed that he has tried to lip sync a few lines in Tamil for the film.

A fan asked Shah Rukh on Twitter, “@iamsrk Sir did Atlee made you learn Tamil #Jawan #AskSRK”. To this Shah Rukh replied, “Atlee and Anirudh made me do a few song lines (lip synch) in Tamil….hope I got them right.” Jawan’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander. During the chat, SRK also revealed that the film will feature a song by Arijit Singh as well, who recently sang ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ for Pathaan.

Shah Rukh answered many questions by his fans. One of the fans asked Shah Rukh’s experience of working with Tamil star Nayanthara for the first time. To this, the actor replied, “She is lovely….too sweet and awesome to work with. A pleasure.”

Another Tamil star to be part of Jawan will be Vijay Sethupathi, who is playing the antagonist in the film. Revealing his experience of working with Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan said, “He is such a humble person and a brilliant actor. Learnt a lot from Vijay. #Jawan”

Shah Rukh was flooded with more such questions throughout the session. When one of the fans asked why he wasn’t on the poster of Jawan, the actor tweeted, “The producer didn’t allow me!! Said just your name is enough!! Ha ha #Jawan” The film has been produced by SRK’s wife Gauri Khan.

Although, at the end of the chat, Shah Rukh did share his photo and wrote, “Some said my face not visible in #Jawan poster….so putting my face here….don’t tell the director & producer. ”

Another fan asked Shah Rukh why he had invested his own money in a “VFX heavy project” like Jawan and the actor gave an insightful reply. “You should put your money where your mouth is…one has to believe that Dream merchants should create cinema that feels like an event worth the audience’s time and money! #Jawan” he wrote.

Jawan’s new release date was announced on Saturday. While earlier the film was going to release in June, it has been postponed to September 7.
