SRK pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Rajinikanth, Sachin Tendulkar, Yash Chopra through Fan anthem

Trust SRK to come up with unique marketing strategies to promote his movie. This time he has taken his Fan anthem to all four parts of India in a very interesting manner. Identifying his own heroes from every prominent state in east, west, north and south, SRK, the fan has dedicated the regional version of his fan anthem to these idols recorded in their own different mother tongues.

Calling Mahatma Gandhi the worl’s biggest stand, SRK has termed the whole nation and world as the fan of the father of the nation. The Gujarati version of Fan has been sung by Arvind Vegda.

SRK, who is a self confessed fan of Sachin Tendulkar, tweeted ‘Umpire kuch bhi kahe, mere liye toh u wil always b not-out! I am ur Fan. Jai Maharashtra! ” Singer Avadhoot Gupte has rendered the Marathi version.

Down south, it is Thalaiva Rajinikanth who SRK paid his rich tribute to Rajinikanth. “Rajni Sir, I’m not a star, but just one of your countless fans Thalaiva @superstarrajini. Proud to be your fan! ,” tweeted SRK. The Tamil version has been rendered by Nakash Aziz.

In East, it is Kolkata that found SRK’s admiration. “City of joy, city of KKR & the city that still has the old world charm. Kolkata, aami tomake bhalo bashi! Ur fan,” wrote SRK. The Bengali version has been sung by Anupam Roy.

In North, it is Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari who has rendered the Fan Anthem in Bhojpuri.

SRK also paid tribute to the late Yash Chopra in his Punjabi version. “Yash ji, no one has shown the purity of Punjabi culture like you did. This one’s for you. I’m your eternal fan!” Singer Harbhajan Mann has sung the Punjabi version.
