Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone’s ‘Happy New Year’ to release in China

The Farah Khan-directed multi-starrer is all set to release in China on February 12, 2015.

Happy New Year ‘Happy New Year’ will also be showcased as a Premier movie in Beijing Film Festival.

After taking the domestic and international box office by storm, Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, is all set to release in China on February 12.

Cleared by SAARFT on January 1 2015, ‘Happy New Year’ will hit screens on February 12 in China. Worldwide Distributors – Yash Raj Films (YRF) have entered in to a deal with 1905 Pictures (film distribution arm of China Central Television Movie Channel / CCTV) who will distribute locally along with China Film Group.

‘Happy New Year’ has been given the prestigious Pre-Spring Festival release date which is reserved only for Chinese Movies and will be released in 5000 screens across China over the Chinese New Year weekend… making it the first Indian film to get this release window and the biggest opening for any Indian film.

It will also be showcased as a Premier movie in Beijing Film Festival.
