This is the most Shah Rukh Khan would have been seen on the small screen in a long time, as the superstar was spotted at yet another IPL match. On Friday, Shah Rukh, along with his son AbRam, were seen cheering for their team Kolkata Knight Riders as it took on Preity Zinta’s Punjab Kings.
Shah Rukh arrived at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, where the match is being played, and fans in the stadium were thrilled with his presence. Shah Rukh was clicked in several moods, as he got tensed when the wickets fell and was jubilant when KKR players were hitting sixes.
In this edition of IPL, Shah Rukh Khan has been spotted at almost every game of KKR, sometimes with AbRam or his daughter Suhana Khan and her actor friend, Ananya Panday.

KKR is currently at number two on the points table, winning five matches out of the seven it has played, emerging as a strong contender for the trophy.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently not filming anything after delivering three successes last year with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. The superstar is expected to begin his next film, The King, in June. The action thriller marks the big screen debut of Suhana Khan, who was last seen in The Archies.
The King is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, with Shah Rukh’s Pathaan director Siddharth Anand overlooking the film’s action sequences. The movie will release in the second half of 2025.
