Seema Sajdeh’s new partner is the man she was engaged to before eloping with Sohail Khan: ‘He knows me like no one else’

Speaking to camera, Seema continues, “It feels amazing. I really didn’t see this coming. And I can’t wait to tell these bunch of girls that I absolutely love. I mean, oh my God! Are they going to fall of their chairs? And yet again, I am entertainment, entertainment, entertainment.”

In the previous episode, Seema could be seen talking to her son Nirvaan, and taking his approval. She told Nirvaan, “Everyone is talking about me moving out because I have moved on in my life. Do you have a grudge on me for moving on in my life?” Nirvaan replied, “No, absolutely not.” He added, “Mumma, at some point, you will move on. At some point, you will need a companion or a partner or something or the other and that’s acceptable.”

Seema then asks, “Are you approving of my current…?” Nirvaan interrupts her and asks, “Is he older than you?” Seema says, “Yeah, a year older to me.” “Yeah, then that’s fine,” says Nirvaan. Seema prods him further, “But, are you okay with him?” Nirvaan assures her, “I am okay with him. If you are happy, we are happy for you. How long will you be in that stressful environment? It’s stressful for me, you, and Yohan. Be happier. But at the same time, I feel like you being in Bandra was across the street. We were a lot more accessible to you. You were a lot more accessible to us. We would be able to see you on a daily basis. Move back to Bandra.”

In the show, Seema also discussed running away with Sohail despite being engaged to Vikram. At a party hosted by Gauri Khan, the Bollywood wives discussed Seema and Sohail’s love story. Gauri asks Seema, “Do your kids know that you ran away from the mandap? What do they say?” Maheep adds, “It’s urban legend.”

Seema, who has never spoken about this before, shared that her kids are aware of her story. Recalling her eloping with Sohail story, Seema said, “You need a whole season to understand that story! I was engaged to someone I was seeing since I was 13. We were kids. We used to keep fighting, breaking up, fighting, breaking up again. In the meantime, I met Sohail and then in excitement I…”

Bhavana interrupted as she said, “I remember, I was there at her roka. She was very happy and I have got some beautiful pictures from that. After 10 days, Chunky and I are fast asleep, and my mother-in-law walks in and she’s banging on the door. She was like, ‘Somebody give me alcohol’. We were like, ‘What happened to her?’ She said, ‘Seema has run away and gotten married.’ She screamed from outside the door.” “It takes guts to do it,” said Gauri Khan.

Seema Sajdeh further recalled the consequences of her decision, and shared, “I was being a bit naughty those days. There were two families involved, and this is not something to be taken lightly. And I don’t like going back to that time because I was really wracked with guilt. I traumatised a lot of people around me.”

Seema and Sohail Khan eloped to marry in 1988. The couple had two sons–Nirvaan and Yohan. In 2022, they filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage.
