Sanju and Singham actor Sayaji Shinde undergoes angioplasty, gives health update from hospital bed: ‘They found a blockage…’

Sayaji Shinde took to his social media handle and recorded a video message for his fans after undergoing heart surgery.

Actor Sayaji Shinde was hospitalised after a routine check-up detected a blockage in his heart. According to reports, the actor underwent angioplasty. Taking to his Instagram handle, Sayaji shared an update on his health, reassuring everyone that he is doing well after undergoing surgery.

Sayaji recorded the video from his hospital bed and he wrote in the caption, “Hi, I’m very well, all the fans who love me, my well wishers are with me, nothing to worry now, will be there for your entertainment soon thank you.” The actor said in Marathi, “I am doing well. Due to precautionary measures, I went for a check up and they found a blockage and it was easily removed. I am doing great and please don’t take tension.”

Subodh Bhave, Gajraj Rao and Sunil Grover among others reacted to the news and wished Sayaji a speedy recovery. 

Sayaji Shinde has starred in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Marathi films.

In an interview previously with 123Telugu, the actor had said, “Everyone in Bollywood now thinks that I am a Telugu actor who is desperate to act in Hindi films. I was quite disappointed with some of the roles that were offered and also, the way certain directors have treated me has left a bad taste in my mouth.”
