Kaun Banega Crorepati recently had an influencer special episode which was attended by stand up comedians Tanmay Bhat and Samay Raina. The comedians shared some jokes with the veteran star which left him in splits. During one such conversation, Tanmay and Samay introduced Big B to the world of memes and showed him some viral clips of him, including one with Jaya Bachchan.
In the episode Tanmay said, “Sir, there is a surprise for you, Jaya ji has accompanied me.” Amitabh was quite shocked and Tanmay immediately responded, “My mother, her name is also Jaya.” He then joked, “Sir, my mom is a great fan of yours, so much that she had me have four drops of Polio drop instead of two.”
Samay and Tanmay then asked Big B if he was aware of memes and the veteran actor said, “I have no clue, it reminded me of a neem tree.” This left the audience in splits. Tanmay continued, “Whenever we are going through these memes, we come across several KBC clips, which are quite viral. It will be an honour to watch some of these clips with you.” Among the many memes featuring Amitabh Bachchan from the quiz show as well as from his old films, there was a meme of the actor from the show that also featured his wife Jaya Bachchan.
In the viral meme, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan can be seen sitting on the hot seat, while Abhishek Bachchan questions them. Jaya Bachchan then says, “I have heard whenever you are impressed with someone’s work, you either send them flowers or a letter. In my case, he has never sent anything to me. Have you?” Amitabh Bachchan who was sitting beside her on the hot seat, was seen chewing something and he kept a resting face when she questioned him. After an awkward silence, Abhishek says, “He is chewing something”, to which, Jaya quips, “He is also chewing his answer” and hearing this Amitabh Bachchan bursts into laughter. The meme reads, “Sometimes its better to not answer.”
After this, a shocked Amitabh turned towards Tanmay and Samay. The latter then explained, “Ismein hota yeh hai ki aapki who bolti band kara deti hai. (This meme suggests that she makes you quiet).” Big B quickly replied, “Why did you have to show this in front of everybody?” He bursts into laughter as he said this.
Samay then added, “Basically, bade miyan ko bhi ghar pe chote miyan banna hi padta hai. (Basically, even the Bigg Boss has to turn small).” Big B said, “Bilkul sir, chote se bhi chote (Agreed).” He added, “Ab samajh aaya yeh memes kya hai (Now I know the meaning of memes).”
