Salman Khan starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s second poster reminds us of Aishwarya Rai, again

If Salman Khan starrer 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo's first poster wasn't enough to give the audience an Aishwarya-Salman nostalgia, there has come the second poster.

Salman Khan starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has managed to stir up quite an interest of cinegoers across the world. Firstly, because Salman is back as the naive, innocent Prem almost after 15 years. Salman Khan was last seen playing Prem in Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.

The second reason is not what Salman might have expected. The first poster of the movie bears an uncanny similarity with another Salman movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial starred his then girlfriend Aishwarya Rai, who is now happily married to actor Abhishek Bachchan. (Read the full story here)

And if the first poster wasn’t enough to give the audience an Aishwarya-Salman nostalgia, there has come the second poster which seems the 2015-version of one of the most beautiful moments of the song ‘Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyaan’, again from the movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The aforementioned moment had Salman pulling Aishwarya’s braided hair.

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s second poster shows Salman pulling Sonam’s braid a la ‘Sameer-Nandini’ style and we can’t help but notice.

salman khan, salman khan aishwarya rai, salman khan prem ratan dhan payo, salman khan prem, salman khan prdp, salman khan sonam kapoor, aishwarya rai, sonam kapoor, hum dil de chuke sanam, aankhon ki gustaakhiyaan

While the social media too is abuzz with the comparisons, all we can hope for is ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ does as good a business as ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ did, if that’s what the makers are aiming at.
