Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ collects Rs 150 cr in five days of release

Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in just five days of its release. The Kabir Khan directed movie opened to packed houses on Friday (July 17), a day before Eid.

Tweeting the figures of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, trade analyst Taran Adarsh said the movie maintained its ‘triumphant gallop’ at the box office. (Read review of Bajrangi Bhaijaan)

‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ had collected Rs 102.6 crore in the opening weekend itself. After a considerable jump from the opening day where the movie collected Rs 27.25 crore, the film went on to make Rs 36.60 crore and Rs 38.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. And on Monday too, the movie collected Rs 27 crore again. (Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a hit at International Box Office)

Taran Adarsh further wrote that Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed the lifetime business of Dabangg and Bodyguard.

With the success of the film Salman, 49, has become an actor with maximum number of 100 crore hits in Hindi film industry. (10 things you didn’t know about Harshaali aka Munni)

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child actress Harshaali Malhotra in pivotal roles.
