You might want to add Salman Khan’s Sultan in your must watch list after the reactions on social media

Salman Khan’s Sultan has become a box office hurricane. Salman’s wrestling drama entered the Rs. 100 crore club in three days as predicted by trade.

The film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars both Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma as a wrestlers. The film has been critically appreciated and is getting a strong word of mouth. In fact, Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta wrote about Salman’s performance, ‘Sultan’ has him breaking free from Bhai-giri bondage by getting his character to crack and bleed. His down-and-out wrestler has foibles, is fallible, is human. Sultan Ali Khan has faults, and is punished for it. Because of which Sultan scores, and delivers a solid entertainer with heft.”

With everything going in Sultan’s favour, trade is expecting it to do wonders. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Sultan continued its MAJESTIC run for the third consecutive day [Fri]… Is all set for a POWER-PACKED 5-day weekend in India.”

The film is expected to break all records and enter the best Bollywood grossers of all times. As of now, that list includes names such as Salman’s Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year and Aamir’s PK and Dhoom 3. Sultan will also help a sluggish box office which has seen only two rs 100 crore earners.

And it sure did. In fact, the film did better than expected and is now likely to earns Rs 150 crore and more in the first weekend.

Sultan made Rs 36.54 on opening day and followed it up with Rs 37.2 crore on Eid holiday on Thursday. The third day business propelled it to Rs 100 crore club. Meanwhile Twitter is getting crazy and this is how everyone reacted after watching Sultan.

Salman Khan even dominated the Maratha Mandir, which is officially the home of Shah Rukh Khan’s DDLJ.

Tickets are literally unavailable.

While Aamir Khan wept after watching the film, some were simply speechless.
