Rustom: Akshay Kumar gets Sonakshi Sinha’s support as she sings the film’s song.

Rustom starring Akshay Kumar is seven days from its release and after Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha wants you to go watch it. Sonakshi took a rather musical approach to show her support. The Akira star took to the drums as she sang Rustom song ‘Tere sang yaara’. And she ended it with, “7 days to Rustom.”

In an earlier tweet, she wrote, “#7DaysToRustom… But not without makin some noise… Wait for it. Badabing badaboom.” The video had her saying, “DaysToRustom @akshaykumar.”

Akshay wrote back, “Now that was quite a rocking message Sona, literally 😜 Only #7DaysToRustom, are you’ll ready?”

Music is Sonakshi’s new-found love. The actress earlier crooned “Aaj Mood Ishqaholic hai” and followed it up with Yo Yo Honey Singh’s ‘Kalakaar’. But it is in Akira’s ‘Rajj Rajj Ke’ that she really lets herself go. Feisty and fierce, Sonakshi is pure rage in the song. And it seems Sona does nothing by half measures. Given singing is her passion right now, Rustom also gets a musical vote of confidence.

He also called himself ‘Chupa Rustom’. It is said that other Bollywood stars will also support Akshay Kumar’s Rustom via social media. Sidharth Malhotra is said to be the next in line.

Rustom will release on August 12 when it will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.

Rustom is based on 50s infamous Nanavati murder case.
