Last we knew was Deepika Padukone had flown to Maldives to ring in New Year; but alone as she was, we thought rumoured beau Ranveer Singh would not join her this year as he did last year for the New Year’s eve.

But contrary to this, we came across pictures, on social media, of Ranveer Singh carrying Deepika’s luggage at the Maldives Airport. Now that’s some love and some gentleman-ness.

So, this does mean that Ranveer joined Deepika in her vacation at the Maldives. Or was it a planned itinerary, like Ranveer would join Deepika few days later? We wonder (wink!)

This short vacation was extended as Deepika’s birthday falls on January 5. Reportedly, the pretty actress flew to her hometown Bengaluru to celebrate her 29th birthday with her family. And apparently, it was none other than Ranveer who joined her there too.

There are pictures afloat on Twitter of Deepika shopping with her mother and sister Anisha and the trio is accompanied by Deepika’s rumoured beau Ranveer.

So does this mean the lovely duo will admit to their speculated relationship just like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli did? Or would they reiterate the cliched ‘Just Good Friends’ statements? We shall wait.
