The Bigg Boss house which usually becomes the place for mudslinging and enmity became a junction for love confessions. Last night, when the evergreen actress Rekha went to the Bigg Boss sets to promote her upcoming movie ‘Super Nani’ set to release in the first week of November, there happended an uncanny and unexpected sort of romance between her and the host of the show Salman Khan.
The two share a very cordial camaraderie as Salman Khan began his acting career with ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’ which had Rekha and the late Farooq Sheikh in the lead. The comfort level showed on screen when they flirted with each other and showered each other with compliments.
Rekha went ahead to telltale stories from Salman Khan’s childhood and teenage and how he has always been in love with her. Rekha was quoted saying that Salman Khan used to follow her whereever she went. Salman Khan also told that in his childhood, when he and Rekhaji were neighbours, he would attend her Yoga classes just to get a glimpse of hers.
The actor also suggested flirtatiously that Rekhaji should be acting as the main lead in a movie, not a “nani” or “dadi”. To this, Rekha replied that he, infact, was the one who offered her his mother’s role in ‘Dabangg 2’. As a compensation to that, Salman made her dance to ‘Dagabaaz Re’ from the same movie. They also danced to the number ‘Athrah baras ki tu’ from the 1979 movie ‘Suhaag’.
The Bollywood beauty further went to disclose that Salman Khan had always wanted to marry her and that’s why the name of the first movie they did together was ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’. Salman blushed at this and said, “Probably…that’s why I am still unmarried.”
Rekha echoed the thought and said, “Shaayad meri bhi isiliye nahin huyi…” Hmmm! Now we know the secret, gentlemen!

Rekha also said the famous dialogue from ‘Dabangg 2’ but in her own style, “Thappad se darr nahin lagta saab… Pyaar se bhi nahin lagta…woh toh hum beshumaar kar saktey hain. Big B yaani ki Big Boss se lagta hai..” We won’t like to go into the details of what she meant by that.
She also didn’t refrain from teasing Salman about the track of his on off relationships. When Rekhaji’s co-stars in ‘Super Nani’ – Sharman Joshi and Shweta Kumar – arrived on sets and Salman started flirting with her, Sharman came to the rescue. To this, Salman said, ‘Abhi aayi thhi…yeh bhi gayi..” Rekha didn’t leave this golden chance; she said, “Aapka naam Salman hai na…”
Exactly! Probably, that’s why Rekhaji asked something from him at the start of the episode only…and that was “Aap shaadi kar lijiye..”
It remains to be seen whether or not Salman ends the single status soon or never.
