Remember the photos of Ranbir Kapoor with Pakistani actor Mahira Khan which went viral and made headlines recently? Guess who has now come for their rescue – Ranveer Singh. So when the photos came out, there were also speculations about what is cooking between these two heartthrobs. Also haters were quick to troll Mahira for wearing a ‘short’ dress and also for smoking despite being a ‘woman’. While we have already seen, read and heard what Ranbir and Mahira had to say about the controversy, Ranveer Singh has given his reaction on the same.
In a recent interview with Filmfare, Ranveer shared, ‘this is one of the cons that come with being a star’. The actor said, “I can only speak about my own experience. There are times when I’m at a certain place with certain people and I don’t want those private moments to be captured by anyone. But, you can’t help it.”
The Padmavati star, who himself has been in a relationship with Ranbir’s ex Deepika Padukone, added, “You got to take the bad with the good. I get to do what I love to do and I make a lot of money. But some things are irritating and you’ve got to take them in your stride. It’s a crazy world.”

For Mahira seen smoking, Ranveer reacted, “Everyone has their own interpretation. Everyone has their own set of values. Everyone has an opinion. You can hear them but you needn’t subscribe to them. At the end of the day, one should just live and let live and focus on more important things.” Ranveer then said about the Raees actor that, “Mahira is a great performer and an entertainer. One should ideally just engage with her at just that level.”
In other news, Ranveer, despite a number of break-up rumours with Deepika, was seen at a party hosted by the Padmavati actor at her place.
