And then, Nawazuddin Siddiqui takes over the screen. The actor is sharing screen space with SRK for the first time and plays the role of a cop. His character of ACP Ghulam Patel looks a bit similar to the one in Kick, minus that weird smile. As the trailer moves forward, we see Shah Rukh appearing on the screen and trust us when we say that waiting for the Raees trailer for all these months was worth it.

While the trailer may show Raees as a man seeped in grey with shades of black lapping around his feet, the actor painted him as a man with heart of gold. SRK, while speaking about his character at the trailer launch, said, “Raees is not someone who is rich but someone who is benevolent. Charity karo, daan karo, logo ki khusi ke liye kaam karo… that makes one Raees.”

Slowly, we get to know about Raees’ life. His love life has beautiful Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, who lovingly calls him Battery. We should remind you that two days ago, SRK had shared a still in which he wore a hoodie, which read, “Don’t call me Battery”.  So, does Mahira and his anger towards the world have something to do with each other? Well, we have to wait to know more about that.

We see the 51-year-old actor falling in love with Mahira, and yes, they both have some dance numbers too. Oh, talking about dance numbers, how can we not mention the hot and ravishing Sunny Leone? Yes, for the first time ever, Sunny Leone has an item number with the King Khan in the film. The song is a revamped version of Laila Main Laila of yesteryears. We just cannot wait to listen to the song.

Well, only future seem to have an answer to it. But what has us really excited is the push-and-pull between Nawaz and SRK’s characters.
