After much curiosity was built up around its release, the trailer of one of Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest films in recent times, Raees, landed on Wednesday. Buzz around it was so high that the makers of Raees successfully encashed on all of it by connecting King Khan directly with the audience through UFO screens. And from the moment the two and a half minute trailer released, it has remained the hottest stuff on trending charts the entire day.

Raees is the story about a bootlegger Raees Alam, played by SRK, and is set in 1980s Gujarat. It traces the chase between him and a police officer, played by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who challenges to take down Raees and his massive illegal business. The film has been directed by Rahul Dholakia. It also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan who is making her Bollywood debut.
