The movie revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family, also known as the “Mehras”, who are on a cruise trip.

Anil kapoor, who plays Kamal Mehra is the head of Mehra family a millionaire, but fate takes a turn when he goes bankrupt. To maintain credibility among his friends and family, he invites his wife Neelam Mehra (Shefali Shah) and rich friends for the luxurious cruise trip in the Mediterranean.

Son Kabir Mehra (Ranveer Singh) and daughter Ayesha Mehra (Priyanka Chopra) along with her husband Manav (Rahul Bose) and mother-in-law (Zarina Wahab) join their father. The family, which looks as happy, witness twists and turns during the course of the movie.

On one side Kamal Mehra and Neelam Mehra constantly try to save the marriage of their daughter, while on the other they try hard to find a suitable match for their son Kabir and get him settled.

We will see Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar play the love interests of Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra respectively.

The Zoya Akhtar movie has already got a thumbs up from B-Town.
