Feisty actress Preity Zinta made headlines once again on Tuesday (October 7) after she tweeted about asking a young man to leave the theatre because he refused to stand up for the National Anthem.
While many applauded Preity’s brave and patriotic action, seems the Twitterati was not too impressed with the actress’ behaviour.
Preity Zinta got a man thrown out from Theatre as he was not standing up during National Anthem. Someone shud explain her law and democracy

Some people in this theatre are so terrified that Preity Zinta will have them thrown out that they’re singing along to the national anthem

I can imagine Preity Zinta “throwing” someone out of a private screening, organized by her. Not when the guy paid for his own movie ticket.

Regrettable boorishness from Preity Zinta. National anthems should not even be played in movie theatres. http://t.co/QpuBLXEOAN

Following the uproar on Twitter, Preity deleted the tweet and tried to set the record straight.
