Salman Khan, Kamaal Khan, Oh Oh Jane Janaaa singer, Salman Khan kaamal, Oh oh jaane jana singer new song Salman Khan is promoting his oh oh Jane janaaa singer Kamaal Khan on Twitter.

Remember Kamaal Khan? The singer who was present with Salman Khan in his Land Cruiser on the night of the fateful accident, which became infamous as the 2002 Salman Khan hit-and-run case. Kamaal, who was a witness in the case, mysteriously disappeared never to be heard or seen until yesterday when Salman posted a picture of Kamaal kissing a child on his Twitter timeline. He wrote the caption ‘Happy Childrens Day’. Through another tweet, Salman also promoted Kamaal’s latest single. He tweeted, “After oh oh Jane janaaa comes this gaana. Amazing single by Kamaal Khan.”

Interestingly, Kamaal was the only star witness who was never examined by the prosecution in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

More from the world of Entertainment:

In an appeal filed by Salman, his advocate told the Bombay High Court that the prosecution had failed to examine eye-witness Kamaal Khan though he had appeared thrice before a trial court. Salman’s lawyer had contended that had the prosecution examined Kamaal, he would have demolished the entire evidence of the late Ravindra Patil, Salman’s police bodyguard who had testified against him.

Salman lawyer Amit Desai had argued that the prosecution had not examined Kamaal Khan during the trials in Magistrate’s court, sessions court. “That is because if Kamaal is examined, truth would emerge as this witness would throw light on who was driving the car and hence the evidence of Ravindra Patil would have to be discarded,” Desai had then said.

As per Salman’s lawyer’s submissions,
Kamaal Khan, a British citizen, appeared before a magistrate’s court on three occasions in 2008– August 25, September 10 and November 12 — seeking permission to go to London where his mother was undergoing treatment, Salman’s lawyer said.

“He (Kamaal) was listed as witness number 47 in the sessions court…and on June 23, 2014, summons were issued to him on June 25…just two days time! Is this possible?” Desai had submitted in his plea.

The prosecution, on their part, told the Bombay High Court that there was no need to examine Kamaal Khan as a witness since they had proved their case of Salman being guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

Now that Kamaal has appeared back in public eye and memory courtesy Salman, we wonder if the singer would soon make a physical appearance in the country and would ever be examined as a witness.
