Kannada star Sudeep, who has struck a personal equation with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, courtesy their upcoming collaboration Dabangg 3, shares that the Bharat star is explicit about his feelings for a person.
“We (Salman and him) share similar thoughts. In such people’s presence, it’s better to be quiet and learn. He is a good guy and a very sweet person. If he likes you, he really likes you. Otherwise, you don’t exist,” Sudeep told indianexpress.com in an interview.
The actor mentioned his reservations about working in Dabangg 3 that caught him after he landed on the film’s set. “I started thinking, ‘What did they want from me?’ He (Salman) is a big star, he is the biggest star. There has to be equality in personalities for me to look as big as him on screen. Salman Khan has to beat someone stronger. I realised he was bigger in every angle. For the first few days, I understood their perspective and intention. But Salman sir and Prabhudheva (the film’s director) were really good to me.”
Sudeep also credited his co-star and director for making him feel equally wanted as others on the film. “If today I am looking big on set it’s because of both of them. I have really enjoyed. They have made me feel equally big and wanted and respected and loved. there’s no motive or agenda to it.”
Dabangg 3, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, will arrive in theatres in December. But for now, Sudeep will be seen in Pailwaan, co-starring Suniel Shetty and Aakanksha Singh. Directed by S Krishna, Pailwaan will release on September 12.
