Newly married Ankita Bhargava begins shooting for AR Murugadoss’ ‘Akira’

Newly married TV actress Ankita Bhargava is already back to work. The actress, who tied the knot with Karan Patel of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ fame earlier this month, has joined the crew of the upcoming movie ‘Akira‘.

Ankita shared a few pictures from the sets of Akira on Twitter.


In one we see her posing with the clapper board of the film, while in the other she can be seen taking a selfie with director AR Murugadoss.

The actress also heaped praises on AR Murugadoss, saying, “His PASSION & HUMILITY make him what he is, A brilliant human being who is also a Brilliant Director.”

She has been keeping so busy on the sets of ‘Akira’ that she missed the famous Star Parivaar Awards, which she was to attend with her husband Karan Patel for the first time. She tweeted:

Starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role along with Konkona Sen Sharma, the movie marks the acting debut of director Anurag Kashyap.

The film is being directed by ace filmmaker AR Murugadoss, who has also penned down stories for movies like ‘Ghajini’ and the recently released Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gabbar is Back’.
