taapsee-pannu-759 Naam Shabana is a prequel to Akshay Kumar’s Baby.

Taapsee Pannu is here to make sure we stay stunned and surprised every time we see her on screen. After her bravura performance in Pink and those 15 minutes in Akshay Kumar’s Baby, she has now a full-fledged movie to her name and it is Naam Shabana.

On November 28, Taapsee and her co-star Akshay Kumar shared the first look from the film and it is everything that we expected. Quite opposite to the character portrayed in Pink, Taapsee looks fearless and much confident in her de-glam look. However, if you give a bit more attention to it, you will see a reflection of Akshay, who appears in his Baby avatar.

Akshay shared the glimpse from the film on his Instagram official account. He wrote, “Get ready to see awesomeness of Taapsee in Naam Shabana on 31st March, 2017. This film belongs to you Baby!!” Later, on Twitter, Taapsee wrote, “Humne rumaal rakh diya hai!! #31stMarch2017 #NaamShabana”. Naam Shabana, which is directed by Shivam Nair, is a prequel to Taapsee’s first Bollywood hit film Baby.

Taapsee had posted a few videos from the film’s set in which she could be seen prepping up for kicking some butt in the film. We guess after Sonakshi Sinha’s powerpack action performances in Akira and Force 2, Taapsee is also heading to challenge the tag of action queen.

More from the world of Entertainment:

The actor was able to leave a strong impact on the audience with her film Baby. And seems like after a great performance in Pink, Taapsee has made sure to keep up the good work.
