Hrithik Roshan said that even after 25 years in the film industry, he remains deeply humbled by his stardom and the love he receives, and that he can never take it for granted.
Hrithik Roshan opened about the failure of War 2
One of the major disappointments of the year was War 2. Made on a budget of Rs 400 crore, the film, according to trade tracker Sacnilk, managed to earn only Rs 236.55 crore in India, marking a significant setback not only for Yash Raj Films but also for its leading stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Now, at an event in Dubai, Hrithik has addressed the film’s failure for the first time, and he did so with his characteristic humour.
The actor recently attended a launch event at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. While interacting with the host, Hrithik playfully trolled War 2 after being introduced. When the host described him to the crowd as a “global icon” and a “superstar,” Hrithik quipped, “That’s very kind of you… You know, my film just bombed at the box office, so it feels very good to get all the love. Thank you.”
