A heartwarming video is making rounds on X (formerly known as Twitter), featuring veteran actor Mumtaz and legendary singer Asha Bhosle dancing together to their 70’s hit song “Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu” from the 1973 film Loafer.
In the viral clip, Mumtaz donned a stunning traditional golden and black salwar kameez, paired with her iconic half high-ponytail, passionately dancing to her timeless track “Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu.” Asha Bhosle, looking resplendent in a white saree, joined Mumtaz in the dance during a get-together party. The actor is seen guiding Bhosle through the dance steps. Asha lent her voice to the iconic song, composed by the iconic duo Laxmikant Pyarelal. Take a glimpse of the viral clip:

The film Loafer, directed by A Bhimsingh, starred Dharmendra and Mumtaz in lead roles, alongside Om Prakash, Premnath and K N Singh in pivotal roles. A box office hit in 1973, the movie ranked 7th among top grossers of the year. Alongside “Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu,” Loafer boasted other timeless tracks like “Aaj Mausam Bada Be-Imaan,” “Main Tere Ishq Mein,” “Motiyon Ki Ladi Hoon Main” that became cult classics.
Celebrating her 90th birthday on September 8, Asha Bhosle marked the milestone with a grand Broadway-style live show, showcasing not only her popular songs but also her dance moves. In an interview with Indian Express, she expressed her enthusiasm for extraordinary events, stating, “I like doing extraordinary things. I decided to do a spectacular concert on my 90th birthday. I doubt if anyone in the world has achieved this feat.”
